Create memories that will last a lifetime at the Greenfield Recreation Department Summer Camps. Our experienced staff will create a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for both you and your children. Playground time, swim time, games, and arts and crafts daily. Fieldtrips and special guests are planned to coincide with each theme week. All of our camps comply with regulations of the Massachusetts Department of Public Health and are licensed by the local board of health.

Daily lunch and morning snack is provided. Make sure to pack a swim suit, towel, sunscreen and afternoon snack. Wear sneakers and clothes for lots of activity. Age groups will participate in both separate and joint activities during the day! In the event of rain, camp is held at the Greenfield Community Youth Center on Sanderson Street.

Additional forms are required for registration including an emergency contact form, a copy of the camper’s immunizations, and a physical record completed within the last two years. Information and registration packets are available on our website and at the Recreation Department office.

Join us on Friday, June 21st from 5:00pm-7:00pm for our camp open house. Meet your counselors, play games, and pick up your free camp goodie bag for registered campers! Then be sure to stick around for our Movie in the Park- Mary Poppins Returns!

Sizzlers (Grades 3-6): Sizzlers aged campers are learning more independence and responsibility every day. Your child will be introduced to new activities designed to allow them to challenge themselves and work as a team. Your child will meet new friends, develop new relationships, participate in fun and interactive games, create arts and crafts projects, swim, and more. A 1:10 staff to camper ratio will ensure your children will get the attention they need. Through specially trained staff, age-specific safety precautions, and a well rounded curriculum, we create a nurturing environment that will aid in the physical, social, and emotional development of your child.

Camp Theme Weeks: Each themed session helps to guide the week’s activities, games, arts & crafts, special guests and fieldtrips. Please see our website for the different themes and activities planned for each session.
Under Construction Week:

Come build lasting memories during our construction week. Where will your imagination take you? Each day will feature new building and engineering challenges to encourage campers to think outside of the box!
